ERP community email - sent Friday 7th February 2020

Dear community member,

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year.

On Tuesday the 18th of Feb, an item will go before council for the Councillors to endorse the proposed amendments to the Ku-ring-gai Development Control Plan (DCP).

This includes the draft site specific controls to support the Planning Proposal to rezone the site. If approved it will move to public exhibition.

The item is GB.15  Click here to read the specific item in the council business papers

As with standard Council meeting protocols, we have the opportunity to address Councillors on Tuesday the 11th of Feb.

If you wish to register to speak click here to register. The item number is GB.15.

If our Councillors (once again) approve the item, it will proceed to the next step in the process, formal public exhibition of the Planning Proposal where they will ask for community feedback.

This will be our last opportunity to provide feedback.

Last year Councillors were split 5-5 on the vote, with Wahroonga Ward Councillor Donna Greenfield voting for Harris Farm.

We need to keep pressure on our Councillors and let them know what we think.

This has been a drawn out process but please continue to voice your opinion and concerns.

Ultimately (after the public exhibition) this will go back to Council for the final vote - our fate is in the Councillors hands.

I'll send more information as it becomes available.
